Happy New Year! 2022 brought us highs, lows, laughter, tears, and everything in between, and I'm so grateful to have made it another year with you as part of the SamSkape family.
I'm so excited to announce that we are kicking off 2023 with a bang as we've been asked to screen Trying at the world-famous, historic, one-of-a-kind Hollywood landmark: The TCL Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Blvd. Trying will screen alongside a lineup of stellar short films as part of the HollyShorts Screening Series on January 25th at 7:00PM.
This event is open to the public, and tickets are available now for purchase. Included will be a red carpet photo-op and admittance to the event - and stay tuned for details on a SamSkape after party near the venue. When buying tickets, be sure to select the "7pm block" screening option. Event Information below:

2022 was a very special year for Trying, so it's only fitting that 2023 starts with an extraordinary opportunity like this at the TCL Chinese Theatre. Last year, Trying was shown at numerous screenings held by various ADHD organizations and individuals, who were blown away by the quality and care Trying was made with to showcase ADHD on screen in ways it has never been seen before.
Upon receiving my own ADHD diagnosis in the latter part of 2022, I'm so excited to share that I am now working to expand the reach of Trying beyond the film. I'm currently writing the pilot episode of Trying the series, and I can't wait to see what this year brings for Trying and our community. Thank you all for your support on this journey. I'm truly so grateful for you all, and I hope this year brings you peace, joy, and prosperity!
