WHAT IS ?
Written by and starring Sam Labrecque, "Trying" was shot by an all-woman crew to de-stigmatize ADHD in media and raise awareness around neurodivergence in girls and women. One year after shooting the film, Sam learned she has ADHD herself, and is now an advocate for the ADHD community.
Filled with heart, humor, and a handful of expletives, short film “Trying” follows Meg, a millennial painter with ADHD, as she navigates her life on the way to an important job interview.
